Puntius conchonius

These barbs are endemic to Southern Asia, from Bangladesh to Afghanistan. They vary in colour from dark orange to light silvery orange with their distinctive black spot. Grown in Australia these fun fish are great in a community aquarium. The males are generally stronger in colour.
