Ramshorn snails are a hardy coldwater variety, popular in the pet industry. They can adapt to a range of water conditions and are perfect for cycling a new aquarium.

They have an unusual planispiral shell i.e. their shell is a flat spiral and resembles a ramshorn. Rams eat dead plant matter, detritus, and algae. They will clean up excess food and decaying matter in your aquarium, helping to keep it clean. 

Snails will naturally forage in the aquarium for food and they also enjoy Pisces Algae Wafers, Snail and Shrimp Spirulina Blocks and benefit from the added calcium provided by Snail and Shrimp Calcium Shells
