About Red Fin Kadango African Cichlid
Copadichromis borleyi - Red Fin Kadango African Cichlid Juvenile - see the second photo for what you can expect to receive. The females are this colour and the males mature to similar to the fish in the other photos. (I personally am not sure where the "red fin" in the name comes from -Lisa)
These mouth-brooding cichlids are endemic to Lake Malawi in Africa and look their best when kept in a Malawi community tank with sandy substrate. They can vary greatly in size and colour and should be matched appropriately with other Malawi cichlids.
Mature adult Red Fin Kadangos are approximately 20cm or 8 inches in length. They prefer a pH of 7.6-8.6 and water temperature of 24°c - 28°c. They like hard alkaline water conditions.
